Selecting and placing art requires a talent in itself. Just as a chair is more than an accumulation of parts, the visual environment of your space must have a unity. Not only must each piece be to proper scale for it’s location, but all of the art should harmonize to create a pleasing experience. Items can be placed without care in an area and the result is a sense of disorder and unease. Or the same things can be arranged thoughtfully with powerful results.

ART SOURCES

We don’t rely on just a few artists or sources, but are always looking and searching throughout the state. Our new pieces come from Arizona artists whose works have stood out among the thousands of items we review each year. We are especially interested in works of emerging artists and others whose prices offer value.

Vintage art work comes from estates, auctions, and other art dealers. Though we use the term “vintage” to characterize pieces not bought directly from living artists or from galleries representing them, most are less than fifty years old. Where appropriate, we update our vintage paintings with new frames. Some may evoke a period that harmonizes with the architecture of your space while others are virtually timeless with few able to identify their age.

We do NOT buy mass-produced prints or “corporate art” made in a factory-like manner. These pieces are everywhere and to be blunt, you deserve better. They can’t compare with the vibrant color and lively brush strokes of an original painting or the finely crafted nature of other original art forms. We want everything we sell to represent the artists’ best efforts and our best taste and judgment in order to nurture you and your business.

PRICING

We cater to professionals in small to medium-sized offices and to small business owners. We know you must be realistic about expenses. So we operate efficiently and are resourceful in finding great art tailored to our client’s diverse tastes and budgets.
